Hem is a range of lightweight furniture designed in collaboration with Allermuir; it consists of a stool and bench made from 1.2mm mild steel. Five sub assemblies are constructed using a combination of pop rivets, bolts and spot welds, thus enabling the design to be assembled and disassembled with ease. Hem can be used in both an indoor and outdoor setting due to its weather-resistant finish. Designed to look and feel inviting when handled, each edge of the seat has been folded onto itself to make the design softer and more durable.
